The New Paradigm Theatre Company (NPT) will present their annual Gala with the theme: JUMP N JIVE, a 1950's style Soda Shop/Sock Hop immersive event at Emmanuel Church on Saturday May 13, 2023, from 4 - 8 p.m.

New Paradigm Theatre (NPT), a company well-known for its inventive productions that are presented with multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-gendered casting has chosen a community nonprofit that echoes the themes in their upcoming live theatre production of Grease.

New Paradigm Theatre has shared behind the scenes video footage of their upcoming musical, Footloose! This year, in order to keep the stage “ventilated” for longer periods of time NPT is filming some of the scenes in Footloose and will integrate those into the live stage version of their show.

Every year New Paradigm Theatre (www.nptheatre.org) hosts a party for their 'tribe' of supporters on Giving Day.  This year we are hosting a virtual party that is full of performances and shout outs from our favorite Broadway performers and youth.  Performers include Grammy and Emmy winner Paul Bogaev, Broadway veterans Jodi Stephens, Janelle Robinson, Kristin Huffman, Jamie Karen, Patrick Heffernan, Randye Kaye, Mark Deklin, Sue Gilad, Larry Rowgowski, Joe Barros, Barbara Distinti and many more!  

27 Days is an original play written by 18 year old Talia Hankin, a New Paradigm Theatre youth board member, from Newtown, CT. It centers around an undocumented husband and father of two young daughters, who suddenly discovers that he is being deported in 27 days. The play explores the pitfalls of the immigration and deportation systems and how those systems affect both immigrants and U.S. citizens. It also asks the question: What would you do if you had 27 days to leave your home, to leave the life you have built, to leave your family, friends, and community behind?

Sandy Duncan recently helped The New Paradigm Theatre by shooting a PSA for their upcoming production of Peter Pan (Aug 26/27 at Fairfield Theatre Co). Check out behind-the-scenes photos below!
