BCM Spring, the annual series from Bridgehampton Chamber Music, Long Island’s longest-running classical music festival, welcomes spring in 2024 with three concerts including a harp program, delectable French repertoire, and Mozart gems featuring some of the finest chamber musicians performing today.

Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival marks its 40th summer season in 2023. Long Island's longest-running classical music festival celebrates this milestone with 11 concerts, July 16 – August 13, that showcase a theme of “Beethoven as Innovator” alongside six of the festival's favorite works from four decades of commissioning new music: pieces by Elizabeth Brown, Kenji Bunch, Eric Ewazen, Bruce MacCombie, Kevin Puts, and Ned Rorem.

A special concert on Sunday, April 30 at 2 p.m. presents Argentine-born American composer Osvaldo Golijov's Falling Out of Time (2019), composed for a multicultural, multistylistic instrumental ensemble and presented in a semi-staged performance at Symphony Hall, in association with Celebrity Series of Boston.

The internationally acclaimed American pianists Ursula Oppens and Jerome Lowenthal will perform in an Music Academy concert on Thursday evening, March 9, 2023, at 7 PM, PST, at Music Academy of the West's Hahn Hall (1070 Fairway Road Santa Barbara, CA 93108). This concert, entitled 'Lowenthal's Legend,' honors and celebrates the extraordinary pianist and preeminent pedagogue Jerome Lowenthal, who has served as a Music Academy teaching artist for half a century.

BCM Spring, the spring installment of Bridgehampton Chamber Music's concert season, presents three programs of stellar guest artists and BCM musicians in 2023.

The Orion String Quartet, one of today's leading chamber music ensembles, will retire at the end of the 2023-24 season, concluding an illustrious 36-year partnership.

The South Bend Symphony Orchestra will welcome the return of world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Morris Performing Arts Center. For one night only, witness the ultimate artistic mastery of Yo-Yo Ma, one of classical music's prominent artists and ambassadors, perform with the full Symphony for the first time since 1979.

This summer’s Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival will presents 11 concerts from July 24 to August 21 – approaching its pre-pandemic scope. The 11 distinct programs in the 39th season of Long Island’s longest-running classical music festival highlight interconnections in music.

The Claremont Trio (Emily Bruskin, violin; Julia Bruskin, cello; and Andrea Lam, piano) will release its next album, Queen of Hearts, on its Tria Records label on February 25, 2022 in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The quartet's performance from Old St. Mary's Cathedral, (660 California Street) will include Florence Price's Five Folksongs in Counterpoint and Beethoven's String Quartet, Op. 132.

After a pandemic-induced hiatus of two years, Bridgehampton Chamber Music’s BCM Spring series returns in 2022 with three early-evening Saturday concerts in March, April, and May. With its four-week summer festival and the successful launch of BCM Autumn, a two-concert fall series, this past November, Long Island’s longest-running classical music festival now has close to a year-round presence in its East End home.

On Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 7:30pm PT, the Telegraph Quartet (Eric Chin and Joseph Maile, violins; Pei-Ling Lin, viola; Jeremiah Shaw, cello) is presented on the new Chamber Music Tuesdays series by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where the ensemble is quartet-in-residence.

On Friday, November 12, 2021, at 11am PT the Telegraph Quartet, winner of the 2016 Naumburg Chamber Music Award, will perform on Live from Vienna and San Francisco: A Musical Call for Climate Action, presented by The ClimateMusic Project and Friday Nights with Yury Revich.

Continuing its momentum from a successful summer festival of in-person performances, Bridgehampton Chamber Music inaugurates its first fall series, BCM Autumn, that continues the 37-year-old organization's expansion beyond its summer festival (a BCM Spring mini-series began in 2015).  Two Saturday early-evening concerts in November will – belatedly – celebrate Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th birthday as a Beethoven “mini-fest.”

The 38th annual festival presents 13 concerts August 4-22 at its regular venues – the festival's home, the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church, as well as the Parrish Art Museum and Channing Sculpture Garden.

Beginning on Saturday, May 22, 2021 the Telegraph Quartet (Eric Chin and Joseph Maile, violins; Pei-Ling Lin, viola; Jeremiah Shaw, cello) is presented in a virtual performance by Music in Corrales.

The quartet's program includes Korngold's wistfully lonesome and defiant String Quartet No. 3 and Brahms' String Quartet in A minor, Op. 51 No. 2, to be followed by a live Q&A and discussion with the quartet members along with Noe Music Artistic Directors Meena Bhasin and Owen Dalby. The performance video will be sent to registered ticket holders and available to watch until March 7, 2021.
