The movie stars Chandler Kinney as Willa, Ariel Martin as Wynter, Pearce Joza as Wyatt, Carla Jeffery as Bree, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Kylee Russell as Eliza, Terry Hu as A-spen, Matt Cornett as A-lan, Kyra Tantao as A-li, James Godfrey as Bonzo and Kingston Foster as Zoey. RuPaul Charles joins the cast as the voice of “The Mothership.”

Cornett and Tantao will portray extraterrestrials A-Lan and A-Li, respectively. Hu, a nonbinary actor, will play the role of nonbinary alien A-Spen. The telepathically connected newcomers arrive in Seabrook as Zed and Addison begin their final year at Seabrook High in the town that's become a safe haven for monsters and humans alike.

RATINGS: ZOMBIES 2 Delivers 1.9 Million Kids and Nearly 5 Million Total Viewers for Disney Channel


Another howling success for kids, tweens and families was delivered by the premiere telecast of the Disney Channel Original Movie 'ZOMBIES 2' (Friday, Feb. 14, 8:00 p.m.), which according to Nielsen's Live+7 data is the #1 cable telecast of 2020 to-date (excluding sports/news programming) with nearly 5 million Total Viewers 2+. It was watched by 1.9 million Kids 6-11 viewers (12.56 rating), 1.4 million Girls 6-11 (18.43 rating), 1.6 million Tweens 9-14 (9.98 rating), 1.1 million Girls 9-14 and 4.9 million Total Viewers - higher ratings than its Feb. 2018 predecessor, 'ZOMBIES.' The sequel posted cable television's highest ratings among all Kid and Girl demographics since Disney Channel's premiere of 'Descendants 3' in Aug. 2019. Replays of the movie are strong performers on Disney Channel linear, Video On Demand and DisneyNOW and it ranks in the Top 5 TV Chart on Apple iTunes.

Disney Channel to Premiere Season Two of JUST ROLL WITH IT on March 15


Raising the comedy stakes, the second season of the hybrid family sitcom/improvisation series 'Just Roll With It' is set to premiere SUNDAY, MARCH 15 (8:45 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. Comedian J.C. Currais becomes a series regular cast member, in the fan-favorite role of Gator, and John Ratzenberger (Disney/Pixar's 'Toy Story,' 'Cheers') guest stars in a recurring role as Blair's grandfather. The season also includes 'wild' animals, real-life wedding vows with legal matrimony as part of a storyline and feats of epic proportions. The studio audience votes for wacky scenarios that the cast must improvise their way through during the show taping. Additional season two guest stars include Charles Shaughnessy ('The Magicians,' 'The Nanny'), Johnny Pemberton ('Superstore'), Jason Earles (Disney's 'Hannah Montana'), Debra Wilson ('MADtv'), Jillian Shea Spaeder (Disney's 'Walk the Prank') and Kingston Foster (Disney's 'ZOMBIES').

Disney Channel Announces Additional Casting for ZOMBIES 2


The roles of three teen werewolves (siblings Willa and Wyatt and their packmate Wynter) have been cast for the movie sequel eagerly awaited by millions of kids and tweens—'ZOMBIES 2.' Actors Pearce Joza (Disney's 'Mech X-4'), Chandler Kinney (Fox's 'Lethal Weapon') and top social media personality Ariel Martin (aka Baby Ariel) will join the cast of the Disney Channel Original Movie, debuting next year. Reprising their roles are fan favorites from the first movie Kylee Russell as Eliza, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Carla Jeffery as Bree, James Godfrey as Bonzo and Kingston Foster as Zoey, with the previously announced stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim as Addison and Zed, respectively. Production begins on May 27.

Disney's ZOMBIES Gets Even Livelier In L+7 Nielson Ratings, Digital Viewing, and Billboard Music Chart Rankings


The power of a music-driven story, an integral part of Disney Channel's connection to kid and tween viewers, continues to bear out with 'ZOMBIES,' the #1 cable telecast among Kids 6-11, Kids 6-14, Tweens 9-14 and Girls 6-11 in seven months, since the premiere of 'Descendants 2' (July 21, 2017). Among all kids cable TV networks, it is the highest rated telecast in Total Viewers (four million), since the debut of 'Raven's Home' (July 21, 2017), according to newly available L+7 data. Through its first 10 telecasts, 'ZOMBIES' reached 12.8 million Total Viewers, including 4.0 million Kids 6-11. In other metrics, 'ZOMBIES' is Disney Channel's #1 Video-On-Demand property and has been #1 in the DisneyNOW app since its Feb. 16 premiere.

Premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES Reaches 10.3 Million Viewers


Against big competition from the 2018 Winter Olympics, Disney Channel's ZOMBIES reached 10.3 million Total Viewers, including 3.3 million Kids 6-11, over the holiday weekend with eight telecasts beginning Friday, Feb. 16 (8:00 p.m. EST) through Monday, Feb. 19. The Friday, Feb. 16 premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES is the #1 cable TV telecast among Kids 6-11 (1.14 million/4.8 rating) and Girls 6-11 (752,000/6.4 rating) since DESCENDANTS 2 on July 21, 2017 and the #1 telecast across kid cable TV networks in Total Viewers (2.57 million) since the debut of Raven's Home; on July 21, 2017.

Multi-talented young actors Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, stars of the Disney Channel Original Movie Disney ZOMBIES, will present the debut of a ZOMBIES-themed, action-packed cheerleading routine choreographed by Varsity Spirit and performed by a nationally-ranked cheer squad on FRIDAY, JAN. 26 on Disney Channel. Manheim and Donnelly will also launch Disney Channel ZOMBIES Spirit Challenge inviting kids and tweens nationwide to show their zombie spirit for a chance to win a ZOMBIES  screening party with a Disney Channel star or have their photo featured during the movie premiere telecast today, Feb. 16 (8:00 p.m., EST/PST) on Disney Channel.
