Full Casting & Creative Team Announced for LEGALLY BLONDE at The LEXington Theatre Company

The LEXington Theatre Company presents its third summer production, combining "Today's Broadway Stars and Tomorrow's Broadway Hopefuls." Lexington's own Laura Bell Bundy (Tony-Nominee for Legally Blonde), will be on hand to co-direct the show (schedule permitting), alongside The LEX Artistic Director, Lyndy Franklin Smith (A Chorus Line, The Little Mermaid). The production will feature the Tony-nominated original Broadway choreography, by Jerry Mitchell, recreated and adapted by Brooke Engen, (Gypsy, Hairspray) and Tiffany Engen (Legally Blonde).

Sleepless in Seattle is one of the most popular films of the 90s which gave Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan two of their best roles ever as destined.to.meet lovers Sam and Annie. In a brave move Jeff Arch, Ben Toth and Sam Forman have composed a musical based on the movie which is making its world premiere at the Pasadena Playhouse through June 23. Under Sheldon Epps superior guidance, the well-cast show is a very bright, upbeat, contemporary look at relationships that does its ultimate best to remain faithful to the tone and texture of the film.

Roulette presents Peter Gordon's Love of Life Orchestra on Wednesday, June 5 at 8pm. The Love of Life orchestra (LOLO) will perform Symphony #5 which emphasizes the orchestral dimension of the Love of Life Orchestra. Symphony #5, a new work, is a culmination of work Peter Gordon has been composing over the past 5 years in a multimovement format. It is compositionally intricate, at the same time allowing for the musical personae of the musicians to come forth.
