Review: MAMMA MIA! at Marcus Performing Arts Center
by Keith Gray-Dozal - Sep 24, 2026
There is something wonderfully comforting about returning to Mamma Mia! You know the songs. You know the story. You probably even know exactly when you are going to laugh. The timeless music of ABBA and the strong themes of love, family, and self-identity make this show an instant success. Its popularity was immediately clear, with audience members donning feather boas, platform shoes, disco-era fashions, and the greek staples of flowing white and blue florals. Broadway Across Canada delivers with a truly impressive cast, striking wardrobe, and mind-blowing choreography.
