The critically-acclaimed Broadway revival of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men directed by Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro, starring Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner James Franco, BAFTA and Tony Award nominee Chris O'Dowd, Leighton Meester and Tony and Olivier Award winner Jim Norton, filmed at Broadway's Longacre Theatre in front of a live audience by National Theatre Live, will be screened in over 700 cinema venues across the United States and Canada on Thursday, November 6, 2014, and varying dates. The Broadway revival of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men played its final performance today. The producion starred Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner James Franco, BAFTA and Tony Award nominee Chris O'Dowd, Leighton Meester, and Tony and Olivier Award winner Jim Norton. Directed by Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro, Of Mice and Men was the first 'hit' of the spring, recouping its $3.8 million capitalization in only twelve weeks. The critically acclaimed production originally opened on Wednesday, April 16, at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48 Street).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TRUE BLOOD's Jim Parrack is the latest to join the all-star cast, including Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner James Franco, Chris O'Dowd, Leighton Meester and Tony Award winner Jim Norton. Parrack will take on the role of 'Slim' in the revival, directed by Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro.
