OF MICE AND MEN Recoups Broadway Investment!

Of Mice and Men, directed by Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro and starring Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner James Franco, BAFTA and Tony Award nominee Chris O'Dowd, Leighton Meester and Tony and Olivier Award winner Jim Norton, recouped its $3.8 million capitalization in just twelve weeks, making it the first of the spring to do so. The critically acclaimed production which opened on Wednesday, April 16 and is now in its final seven weeks on Broadway, shattered the house record at the Longacre Theatre and is the first Broadway production of the spring season to recoup its initial investment. The strictly limited engagement will play through Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48 Street).

Of Mice and Men on Broadway is produced by David Binder, Kate Lear, Darren Bagert, Adam Zotovich, Latitude Link/Piedmont Productions, Raise the Roof, Paula Marie Black, Marc Turtletaub, Ruth Hendel/Barbara Whitman, Marianne Mills/Jayne Baron Sherman, Martin Massman, Judy Kent/Wendy Knudsen, Kevin Niu, Michael Watt and The Shubert Organization. 101 Productions, Ltd are the executive producers.

The producers, cast and creative team of Of Mice and Men are proud that $35 student tickets have been available at every performance, and thousands of discounted student group tickets have been sold throughout the run. As of this week, more than 100,000 people have experienced the smash hit production of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, which had not been seen on Broadway for over 40 years, bringing in a much younger play-going audience to Broadway during its 18-week limited engagement.

Of Mice and Men features Ron Cephas Jones, Alex Morf, Joel Marsh Garland, James McMenamin, Jim Ortlieb, Jim Parrack, Michael Dempsey, Kevin Jackson, Erica Lutz and Stephen Payne.

The creative team for Of Mice and Men includes scenic design by Tony Award winner Todd Rosenthal, costume design by the international, Emmy Award-winning designer of the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, Suttirat Larlarb, lighting design by 2014 Tony Award nominee Japhy Weideman and sound design by Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen.
