17-year-old Baltimore-based theatre artist Sammy Jungwirth has acquired the rights to the 2004 West End musical Zelda through special arrangement with its original producer Charles Dobson and will be directing a new scaled down version of the show in the fall of 2022.

Getting Americans in a frame of mind where they'll despise British aristocrats is like shooting fish in a barrel (unless they're Americans who happen to be still in a daze from a viewing of Downton Abbey). And here the setup provides all the inducement we Yanks need to salivate for Limey blue blood: a highborn family, the D'Ysquiths, disowning a daughter because she eloped with a lowborn foreigner, and (most of them) behaving in impeccably beastly ways towards her son Monty.

Dundalk Community Theatre is sure to wow with its season opener, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder. This 2014 Tony winner for Best Musical will be performed from October 25 until November 3rd. Adult tickets are $25, Senior tickets are $22 and Children tickets are $17.

Dundalk Community Theatre kicks of its 41st season with a blast from the past, Leader of the Pack. Director/Choreographer Tom Wyatt transports the audience back the 1960's to experience the life and music of Ellie Greenwich. Greenwich songs include some of the most popular songs of that decade: 'Chapel of Love', 'Be My Baby', 'And Then He Kissed Me', and 'Da Do Ron Ron' to name a few. The show runs from today, October 24 to November 2.

As Baltimore celebrates the bicentennial of the War of 1812 with its Inner Harbor Sailabration and Baltimore County hosts Star Spangled 200, the Community College of Baltimore County is focusing its commemoration of this historic event on a musical drama based on the 'Battle of North Point.' More than two years in the planning, CCBC has created an original patriotic musical pageant O'er the Ramparts that will premiere at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 14 in the John E. Ravekes Theatre at CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road.
