December 2, 2022 marks the opening night of Valley Youth Theatre's 25th production of A WINNIE-THE-POOH CHRISTMAS TAIL. The Valley holiday tradition features talented young performers as the loveable storybook characters from our childhoods – Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, Piglet and Winnie-The-Pooh.

Next up on my local artists interview segment is the wonderful Bianca Butler Reynolds. She is Brisbane-based actor, playwright, theatre-maker and academic. She is a founding partner and co-Artistic Director of Minola Theatre, with production credits including Love you hate you drive you wild, Highway of Lost Hearts, Grace and Begotten.

This spring, Theatrical Outfit proudly presents 110 in the Shade, the sizzling Broadway musical adaptation of the beloved classic play The Rainmaker by N. Richard Nash with music and lyrics from the duo behind The Fantasticks, Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones. Directed by Artistic Director Tom Key with musical direction by S. Renee Clark (Big Fish, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill) and choreography by Angela Harris, The Outfit's 110 in the Shade features a diverse ensemble of fifteen performers and concludes Theatrical Outfit's 2017- 2018 Season of Character.

Beginning October 15, dedicated Alaska fishermen will once again brave the elements to bring sustainable Alaska crab from the pristine waters of Alaska to the world as the harvest season opens for wild Alaska king and snow crab, and continues for Dungeness crab. Taking place during National Seafood Month (October) and into the winter, now is the time to incorporate the sought-after pure taste of each Alaska crab species into fall meals and holiday celebrations.

After 14 years the crowds return as WICKED brings its magic to Philly

The celebrated wild Alaska summer salmon harvest season begins Thursday, May 18, signaling the natural return of the region's most iconic fish through a thriving annual migration cycle that is ensured by Alaska's Constitutional pledge to sustain wild populations for generations to come. This year's harvest is forecasted by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game at more than 204 million salmon making this summer the perfect time to try all five species.

Alaska halibut and sablefish (black cod) harvest seasons kick off March 11, increasing access to some of the best freshly-caught and frozen wild seafood in the world. The cold, pristine waters of Alaska support a robust and natural supply of halibut and sablefish stocks that are wild, sustainable and responsibly managed, like all Alaska seafood species.

The WICKED Tour is thrilled to welcome Ginna Claire Mason as Glinda, beginning Wednesday, March 15th at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse, NY.

Wicked fans are mounting their bubbles and brooms and navigating the yellow brick road to The Emerald City, (Straz Center, Tampa), to defy gravity with Elphaba and company. It's hard to imagine this but the musical WICKED is now a teenager. The Stephen Schwartz musical, based on the story of the Wizard of Oz as told from the Wicked Witch of the West's prospective, debuted on Broadway in 2003 and captured theatre goers' rapture and attention.
