Birdland Theater will present Daniel Abrahamson in 'Second Date' on Sunday, December 1 at 7:30pm. Fresh off his first sold out 'First Date,' composer/lyricist Daniel Abrahamson wants to take you on a 'Second Date' with all new songs, some Broadway faces, new glasses and a swinging band led by musical genius Matt Lowy.

A man discovers he is eighth in line to become Earl of Highhurst. But his newly discovered family won't even acknowledge his existence so he sets out to murder each one in line to succeed him until he becomes the Earl. The cast works tirelessly to keep the pace of the show while telling this ever-so-slightly exaggerated comedy about love, murder, and ambition. A Gentleman's Guide has raised the bar for Stage West Theatre.

A sequel to the Tom Smith farce previously produced by Stage West in 2017, we return to the Convent of the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing not long after the events of the first show and find that things have settled down. A hypnotism, a few magic tricks, and a visit from the Holy Mother herself lead to 90-minutes of hilarious hijinks and misunderstandings. Packed with physical gags and entertaining puns, Drinking Habits 2 is just plain fun.

Casting has been announced for the Harold Green Jewish Theatre's production of Funny Girl, being presented in concert as a fundraiser in the George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts on September 30th at 7:30 PM.
