BIO
Jeremy DerMovsesian is a senior at NYU in the New Studio on Broadway. Currently Disney's Newsies (Crutchie) The Argyle Theatre. Regional: Saturday Night Fever (Bobby C), Rock of Ages (Joey Primo, Drew u/s), Disney’s Frozen (King Agnarr, Oaken u/s), Waitress (Ensemble) all at Timber Lake Playhouse. NYU credits: Sweeney Todd (Tobias Ragg), Comedy of Errors (Dromio of Syracuse), and Balm in Gilead (Dopey). Jeremy is recently worked on the world premiere of “Love Somebody Now” a new musical by Andrew Lippa. Jeremy is also a classically trained pianist. jeremydermovsesian.com

A musical forged in ambition of set, stage, and stamina, director Tommy Ranieri’s vision of a world only beginning to stand up for their rights was sprawling and spectacular. Unlike other versions of “Newsies,” Rainieri’s production had a maturity that touched the cast’s characters to truly feel they deserved better than the circumstances they were backed into.
