An Italian family in the midst of a celebration, thrown into disarray by a missing prized truffle, looming money issues and an unsolved murdera??it really can't get better than this, am I right? What sounds like the next great television drama is given a musical flare and thus becomes a production that is equally as entertaining as it is creative. What we have here is Truffles: Music! Mushrooms! Murder!!!, an interactive theatrical experience that brings an unsuspecting audience into the world of the Donati family as they prepare for the annual auction of their two-pound truffle. A night destined to be filled with delicious food, big bucks and the deadly comedy of untold family grievances, Truffles returns for its second installment with a renewed zest that will leave audiences craving the songs and drama that only a prized truffle can inspire.

After a four-year run. the audience-pleasing musical, murder mystery, Truffles: Music! Mushrooms! The Duplex, the venerable Greenwich Village cabaret and piano bar, will present Michael. Amy. Whitney. Karen. Kurt., a new musical bio-drama about the life and music of Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Karen Carpenter and Kurt Cobain. 

Theater Company will present The Sandy Monologues, an original work using spoken word, song and movement that was inspired by the actual words of Hurricane Sandy survivors. This production, slated for June 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, & 12 of 2016, will tackle issues of race & class by zooming in on the lives of a diverse handful of residents who weathered the freak storm that raged from Hispaniola to the Great Lakes The play owes gratitude to the EMMP Tell Your Story Project interviews and the article 'Race, Class and Disaster Gentrification' by Zoltan Gluck.

Swiftly Tilting Theatre Project, Inc. cures the winter blues with its production of William Shakespeare's comedy with original music, Twelfth Night from December 24, 2015 to January 3, 2015 at The Secret Theatre at 4402 23rd Street, Long Island City.
