Grace Elizabeth Mealey

Grace Elizabeth is a professional Stage Manager based in Chicago, IL.

Grace Elizabeth has stage managed a wide variety of professional productions with companies such as Babes with Blades Theatre Co., using stage combat to tell women's stories on stage; Laughing Stock Theatre, Chicago's premier commedia dell'arte company, and Griffin Theatre Company, whose two most recent productions were Jeff-recommended and nominated for two Jeff awards in the 23-24 and 24-25 season. Grace Elizabeth has the ability to make the most complicated productions appear streamlined and effortless -- a skill derived from her experience with new and devised works and site-specific, outdoor, and/or immersive theatre settings.

Grace Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago, pursuing her B.A. in Theatre with minors in Art History and Shakespeare Studies. Her academic work focused on ancient Greek theatre and Shakespeare and incorporated her interdisciplinary background as an art history student. Her research has also focused on women throughout theatrical histories, propelled by her experience as a founding member of the Women in Theatre ensemble at LUC.
