Photo Flash: Inside Bucks Cty. Playhouse Play Reading of THE TORCH-BEARERS


A star-studded cast led by Becky Ann Baker (HBO's 'Girls.'), 5-Time Tony nominee Dana Ivey (off-Broadway's original 'Driving Miss Daisy'), 4-Time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason ('The Goodbye Girl') and Tony winner John Rubinstein ('Children of a Lesser God') starred in a benefit reading of 'The Torch-Bearers' for Bucks County Playhouse. Performances were held in New York at the Westside Theatre on Monday, March 11. and then two days later at Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope on Wednesday, March 13. The reading was the first of three benefit readings that mark the Playhouse's 80th anniversary.

New Pilgrim Musical THE NEW WORLD Starts Tonight at Bucks County Playhouse


Pilgrims wash ashore in Massachusetts - turning North American life on its ear - in the world premiere production of the new musical comedy, 'The New World.' Performances begin tonight, November 7, and run through December 2, with an official opening on November 11 at 7:30 pm.

The Bucks County Playhouse presents THE NEW WORLD, with music by Gary Adler, lyrics by Phoebe Kreutz, and book by Regina Decicco & L.F. Turner, directed by Stafford Arima, with choreography by Lorin Latarro. Performances begin November 7 and run through December 2, 2017.

Ryann Redmond Returning to Feinstein's/54 Below Tomorrow


After a sold-out Feinstein's/54 Below debut in February, Ryann Redmond brings her very first solo show back to the stage! Ryann first broke onto the scene as Bridget in the Tony nominated Bring It On the Musical for which she received abundant critical acclaim. Stephen Brown of New York Magazine raved, 'As for show-stealers, well, it's a talent melee: Ryann Redmond slays us as Bridget, a nerdy, big-boned laugh-track of a cheer-wannabe who ends up with her own storyline.' David Rooney of the Hollywood Reporter applauded Ryann's 'winning comic turns.' Ryann recently appeared in Broadway's If/Then and then headed to the MUNY to play Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray this past summer.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation presented their Third Annual New York Benefit Performance at the Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) on Monday, November 21, 2011. The special evening, which only happens once a year in NYC, got a spontaneous ovation after a non-stop, 100 minute show, which showed off the talents of BDF students and faculty that assembled from across the country to perform and to show the audience what they were about.
