Fuyuan Zheng

Fuyuan Zheng (she/her) is a Chinese-born, NYC-based theatre practitioner with a focus on multidisciplinary storytelling and collaborative creation. She recently earned her MFA in Stage Management from Columbia University. In addition to her work as a stage manager, Fuyuan is an active researcher and advocate for intimacy direction in Chinese theatre, aiming to foster safer and more ethical rehearsal practices across cultural contexts. Recent SM credits include Into the Woods (Site-specific Immersive Production), Destination Undefined (Cellunova Productions Inc.), Sweeney Todd (Columbia University), The Z Team (Theatre Row), The RASA Project.
