HARLEM'S BIG OTIS JUMP UP BLUES REVUE Makes Its Home at Ginny's Supper Club Tonight

Fresh off work on Fox Searchlight's feature film BLACK NATIVITY starring Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whitaker and Mary J. Blige - and directed by Kasi Lemmons - Otis Sallid, the creator of SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE, brings an exciting new musical project to life, HARLEM'S BIG OTIS JUMP UP BLUES REVUE. The REVUE will make it's home at Ginny's Supper Club located in Marcus Samuelsson's popular Red Rooster Harlem, (310 Lenox Avenue). Performances are scheduled every Thursday night, two shows - 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., tonight, August 15 and August 22, 29, 2013.

The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center is delighted to announce that casting is now complete for Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure. Slated to have its world premiere in Tampa on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 in TBPAC's Ferguson Hall, with Gregory Boyd, artistic director of Houston's Alley Theatre, directing. The music for Wonderland is from composer Frank Wildhorn (The Civil War and Jekyll & Hyde) with lyrics by Jack Murphy (The Civil War) and a book by Murphy and Boyd. Wonderland is the first initiative of the Broadway Genesis Project at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. Broadway Genesis is intended to help create new works of American theater to play the Tampa market, and then possibly tour other performing arts centers or move to Broadway.
