The Palm Beach Symphony’s televised performance of Eudora’s Fable: The Shoe Bird has taken flight and has been seen by more than 114.7 million viewers around the U.S. since March. 

Theater for the New City, which has been Toby Armour's theatrical home since 1988, will present the world premiere run of Freedom Summer June 8 to 25. Joan Kane directs a cast of six.

The two-time Grammy Award Winning Old Crow Medicine Show will make a stop at Chandler Center for the Arts on July 22 at 7:30 pm as part of its national tour.

South Florida PBS will be the first in the nation to televise Palm Beach Symphony's production of “Eudora's Fable: The Shoe Bird,” an adaptation of Pulitzer Prize winner Eudora Welty's only children's book, “The Shoe Bird.” The concert will be broadcast Sunday, September 11 at 3 p.m. on WPBT and 7 p.m. on WXEL in Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach Symphony reached 7,943 K-12 students during the 2021-2022 school year via innovative programs presented at no charge to the schools or students.  Players of the Palm Beach Symphony mentored young musicians enrolled in orchestra and band classes, and they also performed for student audiences school-wide in Pre-K through 12th grade across Palm Beach County.

Americana Theatre Company (ATC), Plymouth's professional theatre company, presents the rousing Robin Hood-esque, southern bluegrass musical tale “The Robber Bridegroom”, playing Thursdays through Sundays from July 7 through 24, at Spire Center for Performing Arts, 25 ½ Court Street, Plymouth.

Palm Beach Symphony's late board president Dale Archer McNulty was integral in transforming the non-profit into one of the area's top cultural institutions and positioning it to become one of the nation's leading orchestras. John Lithgow is featured in a special, new audio recording released by 92Y: a reading of William Maxwell’s novel, So Long, See You Tomorrow. The novel is Lithgow’s personal favorite, and in the recording, commissioned by 92Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center, the Emmy Award-winner reads it in its entirety.

Creede Repertory Theatre will stream To the Moon on demand from March 15-April 11, 2021. Based on over 200 surveys and 20 in-person interviews with survivors of domestic violence, playwright Beth Kander lifts up these riveting true stories, complete with humor, revelation, and tragedy.

LLT will continue its “60th Sensational Season” with the Mississippi classic “WHY I LIVE AT THE P.O.” It runs over two weekends for six performances.  Evenings are February 26-27 & March 5-6 at 730pm, and on Sundays, February 28 and March 7, the matinees are at 2pm.

Creede Repertory Theatre is offering a virtual presentation of Beth Kander's gripping new work, To the Moon. To the Moon lifts up the riveting stories of these survivors, complete with humor, revelation, and tragedy. Because 'statistics are not the most powerful way to change someone's mind. Stories are.'

New Stage Theatre will continue the Solo Show Series with a pre-recorded performance of Let It Shine! A Visit with Fannie Lou Hamer by Frank Kuhn, filmed at the theatre in February 2021 in front of a limited live audience. 

The 60th season opener will be the Southern comedy “DOUBLEWIDE, TEXAS” running the weekends of January 22-24 and 29-31.  The production was originally scheduled for this past spring and was just about ready to start when COVID shut everything down.
