On Monday, February 5, Birdland welcomed songwriter Scott Alan back to the historic stage. As always, Scott brought some of today’s brightest theater stars to sing his compositions. See photos from the evening!

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the return of award-winning performer Ari Axelrod on Monday, January 29 at 7:00 PM.

Songwriter Scott Alan will return to Birdland, along with some of today's brightest stars singing his compositions.  The one-night-only event will take place on Monday, February 5 at 7pm.

Scott Alan made his concert debut at 54 Below just last week on, January 19th with a slew of Broadway all-star talent, including 2014 Tony winners Jessie Mueller and James Monroe Iglehart, Tony nominees Joshua Henry andChad Kimball, as well as Lilla Crawford, Erin Davie, Mykal Kilgore, Natalie Weiss, Christine Dwyer, Julian Cihi, Danny Calvert, Elizabeth Stanley, Abby Mueller, Christiane Noll, Jessica Phillips, Lisa Brescia, Ashley Brown, Eden Espinosa, Marcus Paul James, Julia Murney, Marissa Rosen, Christina Cataldo and Galyana Castillo joined Alan. Monday's Simply Scott Alan concert marked the prolific and beloved artist's 54 BELOW debut, and served as a fantastic evening of wondrous music and dazzling performances. Eden Espinosa, Jane Monheit, Christiane Noll and Scott Alan were supposed to perform Alan's song 'Always' at the 'Broadway Blows Back' concert, raising funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The producers decided to move the performance back to December 10th, which Alan was unable to attend, so the group has recorded the song to promote the upcoming concert. Watch the video below, and check out the benefit event on the 10th!

Arts and Artists at St. Paul will continue its Songbook concert series on Monday, March 28th at 6PM at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
