GLSEN has announced that FLETCHER and Lena Hall will each perform at the GLSEN Respect Celebration.  GLSEN also announced Jennifer Beals, Jess Cagle, Wilson Cruz, Connor Franta, Jim Parsons and Alexandra Shipp will be part of the celebration.  GLSEN previously announced Antoni Porowski as host.

Today, GLSEN, the leading education organization focused on ensuring safe and inclusive schools for LGBTQ+ students and respect for all in school, announced that its annual Los Angeles Respect Awards will be reimagined as RESPECT EVERYWHERE.

Today, GLSEN launched RESPECT EVERYWHERE, a series of innovative fundraising initiatives presented in short videos running from May 18-22. RESPECT EVERYWHERE promises to deliver the moving testaments from students and educators that have been the hallmark of the New York event, but to an even wider audience.

GLSEN, the leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ youth, is pleased to announce that it will honor Amazon Studios with the Visionary Award at the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards – Los Angeles.  Amazon Studios Chief Jennifer Salke will accept the award on behalf of the organization.  As previously announced, Apple CEO Tim Cook will receive the Champion Award.

Public relations and communications veteran Allison Rawlings has been hired as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, NBC Entertainment. She will begin effective immediately.

On Saturday, August 10th, 2013 Project Angel Food hosted its annual Angel Awards where the non-profit recognized the philanthropic accomplishments of award-winning actress Jane Lynch, star of FOX's GLEE and host of NBC's new hit "Hollywood Game Night," and Food network staple, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis. With nearly 400 guests in attendance, it was a night to celebrate and many of Hollywood's brightest turned out to show their support for the evening's honorees and the organization which prepares and delivers over 12,000 nutritious meals every week to those with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life threatening illnesses in Los Angeles County. GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, will honor the Emmy Award-winning hit ABC show, 'Modern Family,' at tomorrow night's Respect Awards - Los Angeles, Presented by Centropolis Entertainment at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Emmy winner Rob Reiner will present the show with the Inspiration Award, and America's favorite mom, Florence Henderson, currently appearing on 'Dancing with the Stars,' will be welcoming everyone to the gala. Also being honored are Out & Equal Workplace Advocates and the GLSEN Educator of the Year, presented by Sodexo.
