Nominees for the inaugural OC Theatre Awards were announced on Saturday, January 22, 2022 during OC Theatre Guild’s annual membership meeting. The awards ceremony has been scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the outdoor amphitheater of the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is thrilled to announce that its production of Fun Home will be extended its run through March 8, 2020 on the Cripe Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

A deeply complex father-daughter dynamic is the central narrative that drives the searingly poignant and emotionally absorbing musical FUN HOME, the Tony Award-winning stage adaptation of Alison Bechdel's 2006 autobiographical graphic memoir now appearing in an admirable new intimate theater production at Anaheim's Chance Theater through March 1, 2020. Under the thoughtful and attentive direction of Marya Mazo, the production's smaller footprint automatically enhances the musical's rich, engrossing story and its lovely musical score.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, opens its 22nd season with Fun Home, the brilliant, groundbreaking 2013 musical based on the intensely personal graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. Written by Jeanine Tesori (music) and Lisa Kron (book and lyrics), with direction by Marya Mazor and music direction by Lex Leigh, running February 8 to March 1 on the Cripe Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Inland Valley Repertory Theater company (IVRT) will present the regional premier of the musical Fun Home at the Candlelight Pavilion September 17 and 18 for three performances only.

What a remarkable age this is! The five-time Tony Award-winning 'TitanicThe Musical' sets sail for the Moonlight Amphitheatre from Aug. 17, 2016 to Sept. 3, 2016 at 8 p.m. The production made port on the Broadway stage in March 1997 and won five Tony Awards that same year, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Scenic Design and Best Orchestrations. The musical 'Titanic' is a factual story, a far cry from James Cameron's film, that examines the causes, conditions and characters involved in this ever-fascinating drama, and honors the lives lost on the fateful journey. Tickets are $10 to $55 and general lawn admission is $8 to $20 and includes a lawn chair provided at entry. A reading of WE FOXES, a new musical by Ryan Scott Oliver - whose, JASPER IN DEADLAND recently concluded a sold-out Off-Broadway run - will be held on Monday, May 5th at the Experimental Theatre on the San Diego State University campus at 7:30pm.
