Tyce Green is an artist of great vocal dexterity who is delightful to listen to. An alumnus of American Idol and a cast member of the tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, his voice soars to the rafters.  He has a personality that is charming, touching, irreverent, and vulnerable by turns. He is a deft mimic and is possessed of a quick wit that is for the most part self-deprecating.  He is smart, politically astute, and in spite of claiming to be socially awkward has the ability to dominate a room with his presence. His 54 Below show, TYCE GREEN: DOING THE MOST has been crafted to showcase his humor, his pyrotechnic singing, and his dual love of musical theatre fandom and true old-school rocker tunes. The Green Room 42 brought back one of it's most popular shows back to its stage for a spooktacular evening of music after a 19 month hiatus on Saturday, October 30th! Produced and Directed by Quentin Garzón, 'GR42 Sings Disney Villains' was a one-night-only show where the villains were given their due.

The full length musical, AT KC's, written by Kristina Nicole Miller (The Preacher's Wife) and Blake Allen (Folk Wandering; the shards of an honor code junkie), is a new, American tragedy discussing racial tensions through the lens of a Black-owned, Cotton Club-esque nightclub.

After the smash, sold-out tribute to Frank Sinatra in January, the award-winning, runaway hit series 'An Evening With...' (2019 BWW Cabaret Award, Best Series) returns to The Green Room 42 this Friday, March 13, to celebrate the music and life of the iconic Dolly Parton.

Invoking Barbra, Judy and a host of other mononymous musical divas, Anneliese van der Pol came to play during her solo show at Feinstein's/54 Below on September 29. Winningly self-deprecating, van der Pol (VANITIES) kept the show moving and refreshingly loose, joking after the first number, 'So I'm Laura Benanti...'

In their continuing effort to broaden its musical scope, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series at The Appel Room Saturday night presented two-time Tony Award nominee Andy Karl (Rocky, On the Twentieth Century) and his Tony-Award nominee wife Orfeh (Legally Blonde) performing together in concert for the first time.

Two theatre stars tribute classic pride duet!

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club applauds The United States Supreme Court on today's historic decision. In the three years since its opening, 54 Below has become a favorite venue for the LGBT community on both sides of the footlights, hosting numerous, LGBT-themed artists and performances, fundraisers, same-sex weddings, and even events to shine a spotlight on same-sex couples from states that had previously not recognized the rights of these couples to marry.

I never questioned whether or not Tyce Green could sing. Rather, the question was, 'Can he carry a live show without an ensemble?' The answer is yes. At this point in his career, Green has a style of his own. Loose and earnest with a hint of humor. And he's a damn good interpreter. Even when I was concerned that his rock-tinged voice wouldn't fit the pre-existing style of a stong song, his spin would blow me away.
