Theatre Or* and the JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center are pleased to present Emmy and Tony-nominated Tovah Feldshuh in Dancing with Giants, a play in development, to open the 2019 Neustadt JAAMM (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music) Festival September 13 - 15 in The Elaine Wolf Theater at the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver). Written and directed by Pulitzer Prize Finalist David Feldshuh, (Tovah's brother) the play will have four performances, and three post-performance talkbacks with Tovah and artists. Saturday evening, September 14, will be the Gala Premiere opening for JAAMM Fest, with an optional opportunity to join Tovah and the artists privately after the performance for a dessert reception with wine and discussion about the play.
It's a Life, a New JWT Show Tells Funny and Moving Stories of Death

Death is part of life, and Jewish Women's Theatre (JWT) will perform stories about the many facets of death and how memories, fears, and new understandings can transform grief or relief into thoughts and actions that are positive and healing.  It's a Life opens March 9 at The Braid in Santa Monica and travels throughout the state until March 28, in homes, artful venues, synagogues and JCCs.

Featured in the cast are  Megan McGinnis (Daddy Long Legs, Side Show, Little Women), Julie Benko (Fiddler on the Roof), Amie Bermowitz (Ruthless), Zal Owen (Fiddler on the Roof), Sarah Beth Pfeifer (The Lightning Thief, Legally Blonde), Jim Stanek (Fun Home, Gentleman's Guide…) and Aaron Galligan-Stierle (The Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas).

HELL'S BELLES to Open Off-Broadway at Elektra Theatre Next Month

Tweiss Productions and Nicholas James Opalenik/Event Horizon Productions will present a helluva show in Times Square this October, the original musical Hell's Belles, with book and lyrics by Bryan D. Leys and music by Steve Liebman. Hell's Belles will begin performances at The Elektra Theatre at The Times Square Arts Center (300 West 43rd Street) on October 3, opening October 24 for a limited run through December 27, 2015. The show features direction by John Znidarsic, music direction by Mary Feinsinger, and musical staging by Eugenio Contenti.
