Aliza Sotsky BIO

Aliza Sotsky is a writer, actor and teaching artist based in New York City. Aliza's work has been performed at 54 Below, The Soho Playhouse, Rattlestick Theater, and the Horizon Theater Company. Her web series,The Podlife, was released in 2020. She was an ensemble member and writer of STAR @ The Directors Company (2015-2017). Aliza’s play, I Am The Seagull or Something, was accepted to the New South Young Playwrights festival and resulted in a weeklong residency in Atlanta, GA.As an actor Aliza has worked with many Off Broadway theaters and toured nationally.
Aliza graduated Summa Cum Laude with highest honors from Brandeis University in 2015 and received the Sandy Shae Fischer award for excellence in theater. After that, Aliza received her Masters of Fine Arts at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program in 2022.
