Florida Repertory Theatre's season opener, 'Always...Patsy Cline' is now playing in the ArtStage Studio Theatre, and due to unprecedented demand for tickets, the run is now extended to December, 1. ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE at Florida Repertory Theatre, directed by Maureen Heffernan, tells the true story of Patsy Cline's rise to fame through the account of a loyal fan who just so happened to become a close friend of Patsy's, Louise Seger.

Florida Repertory Theatre will present Always... Patsy Cline at the Artstage Studio Theatre Sept. 24 through Nov. 10.

Flat Rock Playhouse launched the premiere production of A Flat Rock Playhouse Christmas in 2017 and broke box office records for a seasonal production. Featuring favorite holiday songs, spectacular dance numbers, and sublime vocals, A Flat Rock Playhouse Christmas had audiences a-ring-ting-tingle-ing for more.

Premiering on the West End in 1999 and Broadway in 2002, Mamma Mia earned commercial and critical success. It received 5 Tony nominations including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Orchestrations. Mamma Mia is the longest running jukebox musical on Broadway and sits comfortably in the top ten longest-running Broadway shows. This musical features notable favorites 'Thank You for the Music,' 'Dancing Queen,' and 'Take a Chance on Me.'

The Flat Rock Playhouse continues the 2018 season with the highly anticipated blockbuster musical, Mamma Mia! This spirited jukebox musical featuring the music of the hit Swedish pop group, ABBA, tells the story of a daughter's search to find her father before her upcoming wedding. The soon-to-be bride, Sophie, decides to take matters into her own hands when her independent mother, Donna, refuses to talk about her past, including the identity of Sophie's father. While Donna, the former lead singer of the 1970's pop group, Donna and the Dynamos, helps Sophie get ready for the wedding, Sophie secretly invites three men who could be her father to the wedding. When the three could-be fathers arrive, things might not be as clear-cut as Sophie thought. Guided by the fabulous music of ABBA, Mamma Mia stands out as a worldwide phenomenon that has audiences singing along and dancing the night away.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce the extension of the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic, "Cabaret.' Because of overwhelming demand, three performances have been added at the end of the scheduled run, April 12 at 7 PM, April 13 at 8 PM, and April 14 at 2 PM.

Florida Repertory Theatre's 20th anniversary season continues with the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic, "Cabaret.' Speaking at an event at the National Theatre this week, Stephen Sondheim revealed that he passed down an offer from ONCE director John Tiffany to put up an all-male version of COMPANY.

Aaron Tveit (Broadway's Catch Me If You Can, Next to Normal), who returns to Barrington Stage Company after previously playing 'Matt' in the 2007 production of Calvin Berger, stars as 'Bobby' in Company at BSC. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Tveit and the cast in action below!

Barrington Stage Company (recently voted Best of The Berkshires) set a new record at the opening night of Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY last night. There appeared to be more selfie photos attempted of Aaron Tveit the show's star and cast leaving the stage door of the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage than happen by the ever present throngs in Broadway's Shubert Alley a show. Aaron, who was Bobby in the extraordinary production directed by BSC's founder and artistic director Julianne Boyd, was mobbed by  what seemed like the entire audience asTveit and the cast tried exit the stage door and continue on to the after party at the home of BSC Chair, Minky and Bruno Quinson.
