Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, announces a change to its 2017-2018 Season, Hank Williams: Lost Highway replaces The Wonder Years as the opening show.

Riverside Theatre excitedly announced the 2017-2018 Season in January, the world premiere production of The Wonder Years was slated to open the theatrical year. Regretfully, as is the case with many new works, The Wonder Years is still in development and will not be ready for an October production.

In conversations with David Lutken, a favorite who has performed on the Riverside stage many times, Hank Williams: Lost Highway was a production he was eager to bring to Vero Beach. Mr. Lutken will direct and perform in our production with hopes of emulating the incredible success achieved last October with Ring of Fire.

The rest of the season remains intact with Million Dollar Quartet, Lombardi, Gypsy, and Mamma Mia on the Stark Stage and The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Buyer & Cellar on the Waxlax Stage.

All season ticket holders with The Wonder Years as a selection, will be notified regarding the change. Season ticket packages are still available for 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 shows on the Stark and Waxlax Stage productions. For more information the change and subscription options, call the Box Office at 772-231-6990 or via email at tickethelp@riversidetheatre.com.
