The King Must Die, a world premiere throwback comedy presented by The Roomies at the 2025 Orlando Fringe Festival, explores the humorous complexities of three women dating Jesus in Jerusalem, year 33. As they navigate their relationships amidst an impending world-changing movement led by Jesus, chaos and laughter ensue. The cast includes Daveaux Riggs as Mary Magdalene and Timothy Yong as Jesus Christ, with additional performances by Daniela Frailan Diaz, Erin Wentley, and Bianca Matheson. Written and directed by Nathan Kubik, this high-energy production promises to entertain with its catchy early 2000s soundtrack and comedic twists.
