Donizetti's Elixir of Love comes to Steinmetz Hall at Dr. Phillips Center, set on the backlot of a 1960s film studio in Rome, inspired by Fellini's La Dolce Vita. Soprano Nola Richardson makes her Company debut as Adina, alongside baritone Eleomar Cuello as Belcore and bass-baritone Robert Mellon as the fast-talking charlatan Dulcamara. Maria Sensi Sellner conducts, with production concept and stage direction by Grant Preisser.
