The Collective Womb at El Jardin Del Paraiso

Interdisciplinary performance artist Alexandra Neuman brings the premiere of The Collective Womb to El Jardin del Paraiso and 601 Art Space for nights of mythmaking on the summer solstice and beyond. This performance is a matriarchal creation story reframing abortion as an ecological redistribution of life-force. Staged on a large mound of dirt, the performance celebrates the macro-scale creative power of our planet and the micro-scale creative power of each individual womb. This immersive event will include puppetry, dance, herbal elixirs, and live music.
