Your Faithful Reader: When the Veil is Thin at Under St Mark's

Your Faithful Reader is delighted to announce our Fall 2025 production, When the Veil is Thin, part of Frigid New York's Days of the Dead Theater Festival. This show is an homage to Dias de los Muertos and showcases stories and letters that explore the themes of spirit, connection, loss, grief, and community.

Your Faithful Reader merges the worlds of acting and dance with real written letters from all walks of life.

Interested participants are mailed writing prompts—suggestions of letters they may want to write: to others (known and unknown), to themselves, to their most beloved objects, or even the intangible.

The response is always pages of heartfelt words, ranging from the romantic and fun to the most honest and brutal truths.
