The Nutcracker Ballet in New York City at Ajkun Ballet Company at Nureyev Performance Space in the historical City Center building

Celebrate the holiday season in New York City with THE NUTCRACKER, performed by the professional dancers of Ajkun Ballet Company in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

Acclaimed choreographer Chiara Ajkun brings a fresh vision to the beloved holiday classic, combining Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, exquisite classical ballet, and vibrant dances inspired by cultures around the world.

Follow Clara on a magical journey filled with dancing snowflakes, mischievous mice, beautiful flowers, and the enchanting Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Traditional favorites meet the rich movement and artistic heritage of Chinese, Russian, and Spanish dances.

Presented in Ajkun Ballet Theatre’s intimate Immersive Collection, the performance brings audiences just feet from the dancers, offering an extraordinary opportunity to experience the beauty, athleticism, and emotion of live ballet.

Children of all ages are welcome. Guests may take photos and videos during the performance and enjoy a complimentary meet-and-greet with the dancers after the show.

Whether you're introducing your family to ballet, continuing a treasured holiday tradition, or visiting New York City for the season, Ajkun Ballet Theatre’s THE NUTCRACKER offers a memorable celebration of music, dance, and Christmas magic.
