After performances across Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Panama and Uruguay, “Love You to the Moon” (Te Quiero Hasta La Luna) lands at the ‘New York Theatre Festival’, Teatro LATEA in Spanish with English subtitles with just 3 performances in December 2nd, 5th and 6th. Julia (Cami Taleisnik) and Pablo (Sebastián Treviño) met at seven, became best friends, then a couple, until life pulled them apart. After breaking up, they reunite on a spaceship, about to fulfill their childhood dream: a trip to the moon. But when things don’t go as planned, they’re forced to face the past. Te Quiero Hasta La Luna (Love You to the Moon) is a tender, funny, and deeply moving romantic comedy with music, a love story that transcends borders and speaks to anyone who’s ever dreamed of reaching the impossible with someone special. CAMI TALEISNIK (producer / actor) is an Argentinian performer and producer based in New York City. She has recently played Carla in ‘In the Heights’ at Bristol Riverside Theatre. Other credits include ‘The Return of Eva Perón’ (Broadway World nomination for Isabel Perón – GALA Theatre), the ‘National Tour of On Your Feet!’ (swing), ‘Revoltosa’ (Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Ensemble), the world premiere of ‘On Your Feet! en Español’ (GALA), ‘The Lion King’ (Mexico), and ‘Shrek, The Musical’ (Argentina). She also led the aerial immersive experience Hombre Vertiente (De La Guarda). SEBASTIÁN TREVIÑO is a Mexicolombian performer from Monterrey, Mexico based in NYC. AMDA alumni. Recent directing includes the world premieres: Las Borinqueñas (Ensemble Studio Theatre, Boundless, LPC, Beastgirl (Kennedy Center, 3 Helen Hayes nominations); Jardin Salvaje (GALA Theatre,),The House on the Lagoon (GALA Theatre, Winner Best Direction Broadway World-DC), and Sarita (Roundabout Theatre Refocus Series). She’s currently serving as assistant director at Hell’s Kitchen on Broadway. SILVANA SALAZAR (stage manager) is an Argentine-born singer, dancer, and actor based in New York City. An AMDA graduate (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy), where she began her work as a stage manager for several productions. Her performance credits include singing with the New York City Gospel Choir for Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” Tour, and appearing in the Warner Bros. film In The Heights. A seasoned salsa performer, she continues to create multidisciplinary work that bridges movement, voice, and storytelling as tools for connection, presence, and awakening. MILAGROS LUIS (Production Assistant) is an Argentinian director, actor and choreographer based in New York City. Recently graduated from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a double major in Performance and Directing she is excited to bring this lovely play to New York City! She thanks Cami and the international community for this opportunity.
