Morgan Manifacier (Pelléas in Pelléas et Mélisande) is a French tenor based in Waco, TX. Recent opera roles include the title role in Pygmalion with Stony Brook Opera, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble, and Tamino in Die Zauberflöte with Manhattan Opera Studio. He has notably performed with the Oxford Lieder Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and Amore Opera. morganmanifaciertenor.com
Clara Lisle
Melisande
Clara Lisle (Mélisande, Pelléas et Mélisande) is a Brooklyn-based lyric soprano who made her company debut with dell’Arte Opera in 2019 as Nunzia in Francesca Caccini’s La liberazione di Ruggiero. Other recent operatic credits include Suzel in L’amico Fritz with Teatro Grattacielo, Governess in The Turn of the Screw and Tatyana in Eugene Onegin with Mannes Opera, Musetta in La bohème with Pittsburgh Festival Opera, and Rhoda in the premier of John Musto’s Rhoda and the Fossil Hunt with Onsite Opera. Offstage Clara is an avid equestrian and active member of the Manhattan Riding Club.
Tim Wilt
Golaud
Timothy Paul Wilt (Golaud in Pelléas et Mélisande) is a Manhattan-based bass-baritone making his debut with dell’Arte Opera. Previous engagements include Moralès in Carmen at Opera Tampa, Betterton in Prince of Players, Leporello in Don Giovanni, Man with a Cornet Case/Puppet Maker in Postcard from Morocco, and Ignacio in Lucrezia at FSU Opera. He debuted as assistant conductor with Opera Tampa for Il barbiere di Siviglia, Le nozze di Figaro, and Macbeth. He also began the Youth Opera program at Patel Conservatory (Tampa, Fl) where he conducted and premiered his original youth opera Falling Skies.
Joseph Trumbo
Arkel
Joseph Trumbo (Arkel in Pelléas et Mélisande; Nettuno in Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria) is making his NYC debut with dell'Arte Opera this season. Recent credits include Sergeant of Police in The Pirates of Penzance and cover for Banquo Macbeth with Opera North, Sarastro Die Zauberflöte with Opera NEO, and Sarastro in #SuperFlute with Opera MODO.
James Danner
Pelleas
James Danner (Pelléas in Pelléas et Mélisande) is a graduate of the Harvard/NEC dual-degree and recent recipient of a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes. In the 2021-22 season, he workshopped new operas by Chris Cerrone and Missy Mazzoli, was featured in several concerts in the Mannes Sounds Festival, and was Georges (cover) in La Dame Blanche (New Amsterdam Opera), and Paolo Erisso and Selimo (cover) in Maometto Secondo (Teatro Nuovo). AddieRose Forstman
Melisande
AddieRose Forstman (Mélisande in Pelléas et Mélisande, chorus nun in Juana, August 20 Song Recital) recently made her Carnegie Hall debut (Vincerò Academy gala) and won 1st place in the Sinfonietta Bel Canto Voice Competition. This fall she will make her Mexican debut as Zerlina in Don Giovanni, La Super Orquesta/Vincerò Academy). AddieRose performed in dell’Arte Opera’s 2019 season, covering Maleine in the premiere of Whitney George and Bea Goodwin’s Princess Maleine, as well as singing Isabella Beecher in excerpts from Victoria Bond’s Mrs. President, and premiering composer Martha Sullivan’s song cycle Selon... Drawn to singing as a child by the Scottish & American folk song repertoire, AddieRose will be including a set of childhood favorites on this season’s August 20 song recital. addieroseforstman.com
Matt Mueller
Arkel
Matt Mueller (Arkel in Pelléas et Mélisande and Antinoo in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria) has recently performed in the world premiere of Zaid Jabri’s Southern Crossings (Barnard College), and an original production of Verdi’s Othello (Shakespeare Opera Theatre). Recent credits include Leporello in Don Giovanni and Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, among others. Matt is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music and University of Oklahoma.
