Packed with suspense, camp, romance, and razor-sharp comedy, the show lovingly spoofs the classic Hollywood tearjerker while delivering an evening of unforgettable entertainment.
The story follows a curvaceous shopgirl with a questionable past who wins a beauty contest—and the heart and hand in marriage of a wealthy politician. But while her ambitious husband is away on the campaign trail, she is left alone in a sprawling Connecticut mansion with their young child and her scheming, Machiavellian mother-in-law. Can she resist temptation? Can she survive the secrets surrounding her? And just how much melodrama can one woman endure?
