Telón de Agave presents Blood, Sweat, and Tears, a revue through their branch Quiote that explores the endless sacrifice in the battle between classes, echoing songs that narrate experiences affecting the working class. The set list mixes genres, languages, and social commentary, ranging from Broadway musicals to hits by Bad Bunny and Dolly Parton, and a medley featuring Latin music bands such as Calle 13 and Molotov. The production is written and directed by Telón de Agave founders Juliana Padilla and diana ponce, with music direction by Ethan Smith-Cohen. The cast includes Aaliyana Garcia, Bailey Yuhas Kirn, Celeste Meola, Dani Lorin, Emerick King, Gainluca Malave, Inge Hoffens, Isabella Araque, Jake Faragalli, Kyle Ahern, Madelyn Dandrige, Nicholas Vukovich, Paula Figueroa Caunedo, Paula Reyes, Rossana Barrera, Susana Raposo, Taylor Parker, and Teddy Huff.

Music director, arranger, conductor, etc, from Olney, MD. At this point, he just says if it can be done on a piano, he can take care of it. Favorite credits of his include _Jesus Christ Superstar_ (MD/Key 1), _Kinky Boots_ (MD/Key 1), _Pippin_ (MD/Key 1), _Unlock’d_ (Music Associate), and _Modern_ (Music Associate). He is frequently seen music directing cabarets around NYC in venues such as The Green Room 42, Don’t Tell Mama, and Reverie Room. He also works with actors on their auditions, both in coaching with hand-crafted audition cuts.

Rossana Barrera
Producer
Singer/actor from Monterrey, Mexico. She began her career doing Spanish-speaking productions of Now. Here. This., Rock of Ages, and Little Women. In NYC she has sung with Jaime Lozano & The Familia at Lincoln Center, performed in Scott Siegel’s Broadway By The Season, 54 Below, The Green Room 42 and Don’t Tell Mama. She was part of the developmental workshop of “She Sings Me Home” an original musical, as well as part of the original cast of three new plays “The Wrestle”, “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished” and “I Love Pasta”.
Juliana Padilla
Director/Writer/Producer
Mexican actress, singer and dancer based in NYC. Graduate of the NYFA professional conservatory of Musical Theater and the Stella Adler studio of acting. Juliana embraces the life of a true multi-hyphenate as her work spans on and off the stage as a director and choreographer as well. Some of her favorite credits include The Little Mermaid National Tour (Mexico), Grease National tour (Mexico).
diana ponce
Director/Writer/Producer
Mexican actress, singer and dancer based in NYC. An AMDA graduate, she has participated in diverse productions such as Rowan, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Mean Girls, RENT and Grease. In addition to her theater work, diana teaches theater, dances for Rumbamena Dance Company and has worked on various short films some of which include August which has been selected for diverse film festivals around the world.
