Telón de Agave Will Bring BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS to Reverie Room

Telón de Agave will present through their branch Quiote a revue that explores the endless sacrifice in the battle between classes, echoing songs that narrate the needless experiences that affect the working class and those who we have to thank for their service.

On May 30th, Telón de Agave will present Blood, Sweat, and Tears in New York City's Reverie Room, marking the company's debut at the venue.

From the standpoint of sacrifice for a nation, the rage that comes from losing someone you love, the desire to create a better future, injustice, and so much more, Telón de Agave invites its audience and cast members to make people hear it. Telón de Agave wishes to shine a light on the relentless effort from those not in the 1% to keep surviving, uplift the voices of the tired, and expose the system that allows this to move forward.

The set list for the evening follows Telón de Agaves signature night, mixing genres, languages, and social commentary. Ranging from fan-favorite Broadway musicals, hits by Bad Bunny, Dolly Parton, and a medley featuring Latin music historical bands such as Calle 13 and Molotov.

This production is written and directed by Telón de Agave's founders, Juliana Padilla and diana ponce. Rossana Barrera and Abril López Ruiz are part of the production, while Ethan Smith-Cohen serves as music director.

The cast includes Aaliyana Garcia, Bailey Yuhas Kirn, Celeste Meola, Dani Lorin, Emerick King, Gainluca Malave, Inge Hoffens, Isabella Araque, Jake Faragalli, Kyle Ahern, Madelyn Dandrige, Nicholas Vukovich, Paula Figueroa Caunedo, Paula Reyes, Rossana Barrera, Susana Raposo, Taylor Parker, and Teddy Huff.

The performance will take place on May 30th at 7:00 p.m. at Reverie Room, 163 West 72nd Street.
