BESTIE ISLAND premieres Off-Off Broadway October 2025 This original pop musical follows a cash-strapped young woman as she dives headfirst into a cutthroat world of reality TV and influencer culture - where crime quickly becomes content. New York, NY – 2025 – Reality paradise, pop bangers, and mysterious disappearances collide this fall as BESTIE ISLAND debuts at the Court Square Theater on October 2nd. The all-woman creative team includes music and lyrics by Colby Lapolla (Selling Sunset, Disney, Diane Warren) and book by Sarah Caroline Billings (Cherry Lane Theatre, The Barrow Group, American University). The cast—bringing experience from the West End, Broadway national tours, and beyond—features Analia Piloto, Samantha Joy Pearlman, Emily Lynne Miller, Luke Hamilton, Mychal Phillips, Jessica Morilak, Jillian Paige, Kierlan Denninger, Brianna Paradiso, and Taylor Simon. Originally presented as a sold-out concert at Club Cumming in 2022, the original pop musical BESTIE ISLAND now expands into a full production “like Carly Rae Jepsen meets Bravo meets the darkest corners of your TikTok FYP, all in one theatrical experience.” Sound design is by Colby Lapolla, lighting design by Helena Magee, FOH audio engineering, audio & video programming by Emerson Wachnik, direction by Sarah Caroline Billings, and production stage management by Dailee Morrone. This limited engagement will run October 2nd - 11th, 2025 at the Court Square Theater in Long Island City, Queens (just fifteen minutes by subway from Times Square).
