Under the direction of conductor Kyunghun Kim, the afternoon begins with the world premiere of Between the Suns, composed by Gilad Cohen. This orchestration of his award-winning Ten Variations sets the stage for a mesmerizing program. Next, Carl Maria von Weber’s Concerto for Clarinet No. 2 in E-flat major, Op. 74, will be performed by clarinetist Kingsley Hsieh.
