Broadway's Michele Ragusa (Young Frankenstein, Ragtime, Titanic) is set to star in THE FAMILY FIORELLI AND HOW THEY STAYED ONE, at the York Theatre on February 17th at 3:00PM. The "musical melodrama of Italian proportions" with book and lyrics by Fred Anthony Marco, music by Alastair William King, and directed by veteran Charles Abbott will be presented as part of The York's (James Morgan artistic director) developmental reading series (Jeff Landsman series coordinator).

Ragusa will lead the company as Lidia Fiorelli, a Long Island vinter's wife, who is grappling with a full-throttle, mid-life meltdown. She will be joined by Tony Lawson (White Christmas) and her husband Benno, Sy Adamowsky (B'ways Caroline, or Change) and John-Charles Kelly (A Light in the Piazza). Rounding out the cast are Michael Deleget, Maya Darron, Emily Loewus, and Daniel H. Luttman.

THE FAMILY FIORELLI AND HOW THEY STAYED ONE, was originally produced at The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), was a finalist for The National Alliance of Musical Theatre (NAMT), and was on the shortlist for
The American Harmony Prize for new musicals. The York Theatre is on East 54th Street,
just east of Lexington Avenue in the The Theater at St. Peters.
