In 1933, Annie is a spirited orphan determined to find the parents who left her at an orphanage eleven years ago. When she is unexpectedly chosen to spend Christmas at the home of billionaire Oliver Warbucks—part of his plan to improve his public image—everything begins to change. Warbucks quickly becomes charmed by Annie’s optimism and courage, and soon considers making her part of his family.

But not everyone has Annie’s best interests at heart. Miss Hannigan and her scheming brother, Rooster and his girlfriend, hatch a plan to deceive Warbucks into believing they are Annie’s real parents—all in hopes of claiming a $50,000 reward.
