GT Skokie Young Artists - The White Rabbit Goes to Neverland
The White Rabbit Goes to Neverland is an absurd mash-up of fairy tales as they all run together and blend. Alice goes to a pirate ship, Cinderella runs afoul of a spinning wheel, and the seven dwarves discover that the old woman who lives in a shoe is really a wolf all along. All of these are only possibilities as the show will be conceived and written by its youth ensemble.
Audition Date: Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16
Audition Time: 5-7:00 p.m.
Audition Location: Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave, Skokie, IL 60077
Type/Restrictions: Seeking an ensemble of creative youth performers, ages 9 - 15.
Time Commitment: Rehearsals will be held in the early evenings, 2-3 nights per week beginning July 1. Performances are August 10, 11, 17, and 18 at 2:00. For specific rehearsal schedule, please e-mail director Ted Drury, ted.drury20@gmail.com.
Material to Prepare: Please prepare a monologue, story, or joke. Cold readings will be available for anyone without a prepared piece. If possible, please bring a headshot and resume.
