FOR ROLES IN THIS SUMMER’S PRODUCTIONS OF
THE MUSIC MAN and DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
AUDITIONS SET FOR APRIL 15, 2017
Bill Hanney’s Theatre By The Sea will be holding auditions for non-union children for the roles of Winthrop, Amaryllis, and Gracie in THE MUSIC MAN and Chip in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. The auditions will be held April 15, 2017 at 3pm at Theatre by the Sea in The Bistro. Theatre by the Sea is located at 364 Cards Pond Rd, Wakefield, RI 02879
Boys and Girls auditioning for THE MUSIC MAN should be 8 – 12 years old. Boys auditioning for Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST should be 7 – 10 years old. All children should sing and move well and be prepared to do so at the audition. Those auditioning must prepare 16 bars of a song to perform, an accompanist will be provided. Please no tapes. Please wear clothing and shoes that you can move in.

Please note that all shows rehearse Tuesday-Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at our rehearsal space in Wakefield. There are 8 performances a week (with matinees) Tuesday-Sunday. The children must be available for all rehearsals and performances. THE MUSIC MAN rehearsals start June 6, performances start June 21 and the show ends July 15. Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST rehearsals start July 3, performances start July 19 and the show ends August 12.
