THE ERROR OF THE MOON SUMMERFEST NYC 2019 - HUDSON GUILD THEATRE

THE ERROR OF THE MOON, an original play by Robin Goldwyn Blumenthal and directed by Rick Grossman will be presented at NYC Summerfest on 6/30, 7/5 & 7. It is the story of a young woman, who following the death of her aunt, returns to the New England beach house where her summer as a 19 year old endured heartbreaks that strengthened her to become the strong woman she is.

BREAKDOWN

LOUISE WINTERS: A 39 year old teacher who has never married. She appears as a 19 year old in the play's flashback.

MABEL STEARNS: 60 to 70 year old, female. A widow from the N.E. town of Eddington and friend to Ettie and Louise.

ETTIE MAYER: 40 to 45 years old, female. Louise's aunt. A lithe, pretty New England woman.

MARION SANDS: 40 to 50 years old, female. A has been writer who is married to Cliff and has come to the New England beach house for vacation.

ELBA CLARE BAUMANN: 21 to 25 years old, female. The daughter of an American society member and German diplomat father. She is a striking young actress quite full of herself, yet quite shallow.

CHARLES STONEHILL: 35 to 50 years old, male. A local doctor who has a great effect on Louise and Ettie's lives. Is seen as a 27 year old in the flashback.

JACK SLAUGHTER: 21 to 27 year old male. A tall, handsome young man who attends college in N.E. and has been hired by Ettie for the summer to work at the house. Romantic and adventurous.

CLIFF SANDS: 40 to 55 year old male. A has been writer who is often prone to show what a mild mannered alcoholic he is.
