LIVE AUDITION GUIDELINES: Sunday March 8, 2015 (Ages 7-19) Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre or pop song. Bring your music on CD, iPod, iPhone, or Flash Drive. Bring a recent photo and resume (School photos are fine). The following is a plus. Play guitar or other instrument, quick learner in break dancing, and able to move. Program Dates: Monday July 6, through Sunday 26, 2015 “Summer Rock” Program Times Monday through Friday 9:00-4:30pm Rehearsals at The School Of Singing Performance Venue: 45th Street NY If you are not able to attend the live audition you can send us a YouTube link to theschoolofsinging@gmail.com (video submissions need not register for an audition time). All submissions due by March 8, 2015. The “Summer Rock” New Musical Festival is a 3-week performing arts program. Students casted into the program, will have the opportunity of starring in “Summer Rock” A New Musical written by Daniel & Tami Orama at an Off-Broadway Theatre in New York City. All cast will receive training in the following areas, but not limited to: 1. Vocal Instruction. 2. Vocal Coaching. 3. Acting Instruction. 4. Instruction in the art of Jeet Kune Do for adventure scenes. 5. Professional Workshops with Broadway Performers, Dancers, Acting Coaches, and Talent Scouts. 6. The First “Summer Rock” Cast Recording. 7. Off-Broadway Theatre Performances. 8. Friday Pizza Game Parties. 9. “Summer Rock” Break Dance Challenge.
