STAGES ST. LOUIS 2013 SEASON - Stages St. Louis

STAGES ST. LOUIS, the region's foremost not-for-profit musical theatre company, will produce its 27th Season in 2013 and will be holding local auditions in St. Louis January 23- 26. The 2013 Season includes Always… Patsy Cline (May 31–June 30), Legally Blonde, The Musical (July 18- August 19), and My Fair Lady (September 6 – October 6) at the Robert G. Reim Theatre in Kirkwood. The Theatre for Young Audience production of Disney’s Cinderella (June 19-June 30) will be performed at the Skip Viragh Center for the Arts at Chaminade College Preparatory School.

STAGES Artistic Director, Michael Hamilton, will hold adult auditions, by appointment only, at the Kirkwood Civic Center located at 111 S. Geyer Road, 3rd Floor, St. Louis, MO, 63122. Appointments can be made by calling
314.809.0846 M-F 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., beginning January 14.

Wednesday, January 23 – Equity appointments begin at 11:00 a.m.

Thursday, January 24 – Open appointments begin at 10:00 a.m.

Friday, January 25 – Open appointments begin at 10:00 a.m.

Saturday, January 26 – Open dance call. (No advance appointments needed.)

Women at 10:00 a.m. (Sign-ups begin at 9:00 a.m.); Men at 2:00 p.m. (Sign-ups begin at 1:00 p.m.).

All performers must be at least 18 years or older and bring a photo and resume. Performers should be prepared to sing a MAXIMUM of 32 bars and prepare two contrasting pieces, but may not be asked to sing more than one. Together, the two pieces may not exceed a maximum 32 bars. Lead sheets, transpositions, pre-recorded music and a cappella singing will not be allowed. Open dance call auditionees should bring tap, jazz and character shoes and be ready to dance first and will sing only if asked. STAGES is not seeking any actors under the age of 18 this season.
