MPAC Spring Production: Newsies Auditions February 23-24
Extra! Extra! MPAC's 2020 spring production will be Newsies.
Performances of Newsies will take place May 29-May 31. The show will be directed by Cathy Roy. Music Direction by Charles Santoro.
Auditions will take place on Sunday, February 23 from 1 pm - 8pm and Monday, February 24 from 5 pm - 8 pm at the Theatre for principal roles and ensemble. Callbacks will be Sunday, March 1. MPAC is looking for young performers ages 14-25 who are talented, diverse and can sing and dance.

Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action.
Tickets will go onsale in early April.
