Please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show (preferably not from the show itself). Please bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Please do NOT bring your own tracks or pre-recorded music. Also, please be prepared to do a short cold reading from the script.

Please bring a current headshot and resume with you at your scheduled audition time.

Individual auditions will last no longer than 5 minutes, so please don’t be alarmed if we move very fast. We are expecting a large turnout for these auditions, and we want to make sure we are able to see everyone who wants to audition. Thanks for your understanding. Also, please be prepared to stay no longer than 30 minutes following your individual audition in order to participate in a brief group choreography audition, which will consist of learning a short dance sequence with approximately 3-4 other auditioners. So please come dressed for movement.

Those selected for callbacks will be notified by email or phone. If you are unable to attend on either audition date, or if there are no available slots, please contact us at info@thetart.org and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Auditions begin in early August. Performances are October 5-14 in the Scott Theatre at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, 1300 Gendy Street, Ft. Worth TX 76107.
