LITTLE WOMEN - Way Off Broadway

WAY OFF BROADWAY DINNER THEATRE TO HOLD AUDITIONS FOR ITS
UPCOMING PRODUCTION OF LITTLE WOMEN: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, which kicked of its 2019/2020 Season last month with the opening of the cult comedy favorite Little Shop of Horrors, has announced auditions for its upcoming production of Little Women: The Broadway Musical.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested – her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. This timeless, captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

Audition will be held on Monday, November 4th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Way Off Broadway, which is located at 5 Willowdale Drive in Frederick, Maryland.

Those auditioning are asked to bring a headshot and resume, as well as 16 bars of prepared music and be ready to sing and read from the script. All roles are open and non-union paying. Those auditioning must be at least 16 years old. No appointments are necessary and an accompanist will be provided.
