AUDITIONS NOTICE:
Auditions will be held at Stage Door Inc. (2307 S. Shaver, Pasadena, TX 77502) on February 14th from 12pm-4pm, and February 15th from 7pm-10pm. You do NOT need to attend both auditions to be considered.
Please have the following prepared:
  1. 1 minute of a song in the style of the show.
  2. Personal calendar (to compare to rehearsal schedule)
  3. Headshot / Performance Resume (not required, but appreciated)
  4. You will fill out an Audition Form at the theatre.

Auditions will include singing and dancing to music from the show, so please be familiar with the music and dress in appropriate dance clothing. Auditions may also include some cold readings from the script.

SHOW SUMMARY:

Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical is an evocative tale of two men – one a doctor, passionate and romantic – the other, a terrifying madman; and two women - one, beautiful and trusting –the other, beautiful and trusting only herself. Both women in love with the same man. Both unaware of his dark secret. A devoted man of science, Dr. Henry Jekyll is driven to find a chemical breakthrough that can solve some of mankind’s most challenging medical dilemmas. Rebuffed by the powers that be, he decides to make himself the subject of his own experimental treatments, accidentally unleashing his inner demons along with the man the world would come to know as Mr. Hyde. A story about the duplexity of a man’s soul, this show promises to deliver a plot both thrilling yet ultimately chilling.

Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical will be performed on the Stage Door Inc. stage from April 10 - May 3. Tickets are $20 at the door, or will be available for purchase online for $15 at
