Westchester Broadway Theatre Announces Auditions for 2 Upcoming Productions

Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford, NY will be holding non union local children's auditions for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and MIRACLE ON 34TH ST on Saturday September 8th at the theatre.

FIDDLER:

Shprintze: Fourth daughter of Tevye & Golde. Teenager (13 - 16, 5'2' or shorter) Some dance required for this role

Bielke: Youngest daughter of Tevye & Golde. 8 - 12 years old

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF goes into rehearsals on 10/1/12; Opens 10/11/12; Goes on hiatus from 11/26 thru 1/1/13; Reopens: 1/2/13; Closes: 2/10/13

MIRACLE ON 34TH ST:

Susan Walker: 10 year old precocious, self sufficient city girl, wise beyond her years. Actual age not as important as ability to play a 10 year old and must understand the sensibly of the time period that the show takes place (1940's)

Also looking for boys and girls (ages 6 to 10) to be in the ensemble of MIRACLE ON 34TH ST.

MIRACLE ON 34th ST goes into rehearsals on 11/19; Opens 11/29; Closes: 12/31/12

Both shows will require some daytime rehearsals in both WESTCHESTER and NYC. There are also weekday performances which will require some school hours to be missed.
