Auditions for The Cemetery Club

Ivan Menchell's bittersweet comedy, The Cemetery Club, is the story of three widows in Queens. They are the surviving half of three sets of long time best friends, each of whom is in a different stage of healing and moving on with her life. Once a month the three women meet to pay their respects to their husbands, who are all buried in the same cemetery. The women are bound together by their hurt, their healing and the discovery that they are more alike than they believed.
Roles are available for 4 women (age late 30's to 60's) and 1 man (age late 50's or 60's). A synopsis of the characters is available on Facebook by clicking here.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
PRODUCTION DATES:

Auditions for 2014 One Act Weekend
Every season, Carrollwood Players holds a special weekend for new, short plays. These plays are a perfect introduction to theater for anyone interested - the time commitment is significantly shorter than other plays or musicals.
This is perfect for first time actors and actresses!!
Plays have not been decided as of March 8th.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts.

Noises Off is called the funniest farce ever written. As the play within a play unfolds, we meet an ambitious director and his troupe of mediocre actors. The cast and crew are putting together a silly sexy comedy titled, Nothing On - a single-set farce in which lovers frolic, doors slam, clothes are tossed away, and madcap hi-jinx ensue!
